I was born and raised in a countryside in South Korea. My father is an artist who makes oil paintings so what he’s been doing his whole life definitely motivated me a lot, and for that, I got to see the possibility of doing what I love as a job. What initially sparked my interest in tattooing is first of all, the beauty of trust. It’s about trusting your life decisions and trusting the artists. Usually, artists and clients are strangers, technically. They just met, but the clients trust the artists and get their art on their skin. I still cannot explain how beautiful that is. In this modern world, people still make beautiful art based on their trust. Also, the fact that I can keep drawing which I love to do and it can be my profession.
